About Me

Adam Eggleston, DVM

I am a small animal veterinarian in Kalamazoo, MI. I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Fisheries and Wildlife from Michigan State University and a doctor of veterinary medicine from the University of Florida. My primary interests are surgery and client information.

When I’m not removing testicles from your pup, I enjoy playing guitar, fishing, hunting, and trying to manage our 2 dogs, 5 cats, 4 geese, some ducks, and way too many chickens. My wife and I (mostly her) has also recently started a farm as well! (T&A Family Farms)

I started this blog because I read discussions from owners on Facebook, Reddit, and other social media; I noticed how much misinformation and distrust there was between vets and owners. Veterinarians are members of your community, and I hope this page will help owners see the exam through our eyes while also providing information.

I also needed a spot to vent about getting anal glanded on by your pet.
